Attention ATV Club and Veterans - The Warriors Ride: May 19, 2018
In lieu of Armed Forces Day, May 19, 2018 and Memorial Day May 28, 2018.
The Utah/Arizona ATV Club will be sponsoring the third Annual Warriors Ride on Saturday, departing at 10:00AM (Sharp) from Jacab Hamblin City park north parking lot in Kanab. (Be there before 10:00 AM)
We will ride the Hog Canyon Trails and Lunch at Thompson Point.
The Ride is to the Hog Canyon Trails. Up the Mosdell to Thompson Point. (All OHV’s okay). Bring a lunch, sun block, lots of water and bug spray.
Also bring a veteran for this ride: It is a way for us to express our appreciation to Veterans including our Veteran members for their service to our country.
This ride our third annual “Warriors Ride” where Club Members invite and host veterans, including disabled veterans that they sponsor, either taking them in their OHV or provide an ATV for them to ride. The Club hosts our Veterans so that they can experience the beautiful areas that we are privileged to enjoy. Our way of saying thank you for their service and for us to honor our Veterans.
Do not forget that the Kanab American Legion is hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony at the Kanab Cemetery on Memorial Day, May 28, 2018.
Armed Forces Day May 20, 2017 (Same day as the ATV Club Fun Run).
This Event will be to honor our American Veterans who will be recognized at our ATV Club Meeting May 18, 2017 at 6:00 PM, Ranchos Park
To foster the recognition of US Military Veterans on Armed Forces Day.
- To raise awareness and enlist the public’s attention to our military veterans and service members.
- To honor all US Veterans including active or disabled veterans through our warriors ride.
- To provide unique, direct recognition and experience the scenic beauty of Kane County, Utah to US Veterans.

2017 WARRIORS RIDE in lieu of Armed Forces Day

Warriors Ride, departing at 8:00AM from the Utah State port of entry weigh station Parking lot on US 89 north of Kanab.
Trailer OHV’s to East Zion, Ride to Poverty. Ride rated moderate: due to sandy washed out areas and lengths which are estimated to be, 40 plus miles.
This ride designated as our second annual “Warriors Ride” where Club Members invite and host veterans, including disabled veterans that they sponsor, and either take them in their OHV or provide an ATV for the ride. This is in lieu of ARMED FORCES Day. The Club will host the Veterans so that they are able to experience the beautiful areas that we are privileged to enjoy. Our way of saying thank you for their service and honoring our Veterans. (All OHV’s okay)
